Yeah but I think that takes away a pretty significant strategy.
Mound visits are BS. A starter has 5 days to get a game plan together and they have signs with the catcher. And it a complete momentum stopper when a team may have a pitcher on the ropes.
One every once in a while if he gets in trouble or if he's off mechanically, but I've noticed multiple visits per innings or even in one AB. The Rangers were bad at it during some of those high leverage innings against us.
