I was at home hoping some fluke play would happen, like a black cat running onto the field, or a swarm of locusts appearing, or a fan interference call that cost the Cubs dearly.

But alas, all the nerdy white neck beard hispter SJW Cubs fans get to celebrate.

Newport actually has a ton of Midwest/Big 10 immigrants, cause why would you possibly want to live in the Midwest after college
that place is packed for Cubs/Bears games

5 of my closest friends here grew up in Chicago suburbs, went to Wisc/IU/Tenn/tOSU and moved to Newport without knowing eachother
