    Arrieta was wild and showed no signs of being the best pitcher in the NL. The Cubs have been incredibly lucky with everything working out as planned and every prospect playing oUT of their mind. Won't last forever.

    Who's to say Arrieta has one of the most dominating stretches in baseball history if not for the influence of Maddon (2015) and Bosio (2012)? Ridiculous to hold a GM accountable for something like that.

    He was 20-25 w/ 5.46 ERA in Baltimore. He is 41-13 w/ 2.17 ERA in Chicago.

    I appreciate some things being posted out of the Astros thread. Some things are interesting, but I'm not always going to want to dig through the convoluted team threads to find that discussion.
