You really wanna bust out bad records as trash talk there bud?

Just refreshing someone's not so good memory.

You realize Bregman can also play SS, 2B and LF? Oh wait, Gomez will have you covered for LF.
So, I get the move, it is a cheap add to give us depth but Gomez may, or may not, even play enough to impact the team. The way things have gone for Houston this year, I wouldn't be surprised to see Gomez finally break out of his slump in Texas. I am not saying it will happen, but can you imagine the anger with him getting called up for the Sept 2-4 series and being the player of the week?

Don't recall him ever saying that it happened every year.

So can Profar. I'm not sure about Gallo, but my point is that Bregman is not better than what we already have.

I went broke and my life is in ruins because I spent hundreds of thousands on $1 scratch-offs.

But hey, one of them won me $100 -- SO IN YOUR FACE!

You would think the Rangers and Astros would both have learned their lesson by now about letting players go to in division rivals. It never works out well. Ours always come back to bite us in the ass. Except for Feldman that is.

You'll change your tune when Guadalupe Chavez wins the Cy Young in 2023.

Yes, the most injury plagued team in baseball history (it's a fact...you can look it up) did not have a good year.

Yes, the team I root for went to the World Series within the last five years. I'm not sure how you see that as a negative.

Are you disagreeing that the Rangers have been the dominant team in the AL West over the last 5-6 years? They are on pace for their fourth division crown in that span. Two of the three years they didn't win it, they were one game back and lost it on the last day of the season.

That doesn't sound accurate. I believe this year would be the 2nd in 5 years. I think you have to go back at least 7 to get the 2 WS teams in.

You won the division in 10, 11, 15, and looks like 16.

We have had our Justin Smoak, Chris Davis, Napoli, Nelson Cruz, etc. Although if Cruz wasn't gone, it could have been a replay of the 30 for 30 "Two Escobars".

Now, we did get lucky with Coke-Nose Hamilton. Even lucked out by getting him back for pennys on the dollar while further screwing LA with a hit to their payroll with no player to show for it.

Year 1: 2016, on pace (1)
Year 2: 2015, (2)
Year 3: 2014, Nope
Year 4: 2013, Nope
Year 5: 2012, Nope
Year 6: 2011, (3)

3 division titles over 6 years. I don't know if Rangers fans just aren't familiar with their team or just not good at math. I am not sure which is worse. Hell, it may be not getting it after it was pointed out.

At this point can we outsource our "rivalry" to another AL team besides the Asstros?

Seattle would be a good choice (the 12's BS and all).

All Astros/Rangers **** talking aside, can we all agree that Guadalupe Chavez is possibly one of the most badass baseball names possibly ever? I imagine some kind of gunslinging renegade cowboy

Just think if you win it this year you'll have finally caught the Astros. You still trail by 2 (or is it 3) playoff appearances.

Yeah, the AL has a crap-ton more WS titles than the NL, but whatever. And how have the mighty Astros fared in this soft AL? Looks like about 67 games under .500.
