He was great at first but had been very shaky lately.

so I went back and checked Rondon's stats... he really hasn't been as bad as it had seemed in non-save situations. i really felt like he had been allowing a lot of baserunners lately, but he's not. however, he's been bad when entering tie games. i'd like to say tie games are specifically what i was thinking of when i said he's sucked in non-save situations, but it's not.

Didn't get to watch last night due to a client dinner but saw the highlights. Chapman is ****ing nails.

****. Chapman just blew a save. The Cubs were up 1-0 on one hit in the 8th. A great start by Arrieta wasted.

Wow. He went into the 8th and the only two runs charged to him were because Chapman blew the save. I think most fans would be THRILLED to have their starter duplicate those results in every start of the season. Too bad the offense couldn't get anything done today.

It was a good pitch by Chapman but it was also the pitch Martin was waiting on.

After watching his last few outings the catchers seem to be having problems handling his pitches.

Picked up a game on the Cards tonight.
