Bryant moving to third in the order after Rizzo and before Soler.
These games have been rough to make it through. Mostly because of the pitching (starters and bullpen). You can't really blame the offense or the defense. It's mostly on pitching. It's been either long innings as a result of struggling to get that first out our using up a lot of pitches to make it through innings where the other team doesn't score.
at least Addison Russell is turning things around with an 8 game hit streak... 10 for 28 with 4 2B and 2 HR... still 11 Ks in those 8 games though...
Might be time to move Russell out of the 9 hole
Happy birthday to my old man. Would've been 84 today. And there's nothing he'd have wanted more than a Cubs win over the Cardinals. Hope they don't blow it. Having a Perfect Manhattan in his honor.
