Speaking of long suffering Cubs fans, has anyone checked on AgRyan? or bluestainedivy? Those two (and Junkhead) were the main reason I was rooting for the Cubs to win it all.

LOL - I think the shock is just starting to wear off



I made it up for game 4. My dream has always been to keep score at a World Series game - it was a crappy game between the lines, but WOW, what an experience. My Stubhub ticket wouldn't scan - talk about heart stopping - but the Cubs ticket office made it right for me (and a thank you will be hitting the mail to them soon).

I also got to have Eddie Vedder walk right past my SRO spot - I'm as big of a PJ fan as I am a Cubs fan - I missed the next two batters just trying to come to grips with that.

And how on earth have we not heard of anyone dying of a stroke during that game 7? I was a complete and absolute mess.

What a ride. It's amazing to see how this team has brought so many people together through the years and given so many people such joy.

Also thought that some of y'all might enjoy this - I wrote it just after the NLCS

Don't remember where I found this, but it doesn't look like it was posted on here.
