The comeback was there for the taking if we could make shots. We had plenty of good looks.

Then wide open shots not falling is definitely frustrating.

Feeling negative today. The Rockets don't have the killer instinct to win.

• Game 7 last year at home, can't finish
• This season - losing to crappy teams and blowing leads
• 2 weeks ago on a 10 game winning streak play the Warriors at home with no KD and still lose
• Last night was a statement game. Beat the best in the East and prove we're legit and lock up the MVP for Harden and blew it.

Harden, CP3, and D'antoni. For whatever reason, they're resume shows they can't get it done when it counts.

Everything you are pointing out is concerning and I understand your negativity. With that said I am not that worried. We were terrible to start the year and have already somewhat overachieved compared to where we could have been. It is all about who is hot and are we making our shots in the playoffs.

All we can ask for is a shot at the Warriors and hope that we can play well in 4 of 7 games.

To your points:

1. Literally everyone in the league is doing that this year just as much as we are. Doesn't excuse it, but it's still what happens.

2. And we beat them 3 times before that with key players hurt. So what?

3. "Statement games" are mostly just made up by fans. A game against an eastern conference opponent is largely meaningless. I don't give a hot damn about narratives.

4. In D'antoni and CP3's careers, there's only one, maybe two years where you can honestly say that they can't get it done when it counts.

Is this game on TV? The Rockets email said it was on ATTSW, but that's showing the Astros replay. NBA TV says it's blacked out. I have Uverse, if that makes a difference.
