That seems like some subtle motivation aimed at Danuel. To me it sounds like 'sign a contract and come back or you won't be back at all this season.'

I wish Danuel the best, he grew up down the street from where I did and of course is and Ag but the Rockets have to do what is best for their future. Hopefully they can come to an agreement.

I was able to sell my tickets about a week ago when it looked like LeBron had a chance of playing. I hope someone in a Lakers LeBron shirsey is sitting in my seat *****ing about the fact that LeBron isn't even in the building.

Are we sure we want to bring him back this early? That's just asking for another injury. I think we should wrap him in bubble wrap, put him in stasis and roll him out right before the playoffs.

Agree with this to a lesser extent. Let him play one game a week, or something like that. I just worry about him lasting 8 weeks in the playoffs.

So basically Faried is going to become a great player again playing with Harden and CP3.

I was more excited about Rivers than I am Faried but hope it works out. Rockets somehow still need warm bodies to eat minutes and if he can give that for 15 minutes a game and not suck too bad then that would be good,

That article is pretty optimistic... dude had a back injury a couple years back and really hasn't moved the same since then. Also that article doesn't really even back up the writes assertions, Denver has been an also ran pretty much the whole time Faried was there and listed a bunch of mid-tier starters with the Nuggets and proof his game is elevated when he plays on a great team with great players. Strange analysis there.

I've always been really interested in Faried as I thought he would fit well with Harden. When he played for Denver I used to make tons of fake trades in the NBA trade machine for him. He was a guy who will just run, rebound, hustle and dunk....perfect for Harden.

The current version of Faried might not have the same pop, but his box scores from this year are promising. When the Nets play him (which is RARE), he basically bags a double double.

I hope he still has plenty left in his tank. If so, we just might have made a massive pickup.....if not he can just be another guy who makes the vet minimum to cheer for Harden when he goes into God Mode. Another nice job by Morey.

Faried's numbers pro rata are just as good or better than they have ever been, so that's encouraging. He just hasn't been getting the minutes.
