I hope they sign Cousins to a multi year deal, and keep Lonzo. The pouting, outside distractions, and media circus will help keep the regular season interesting outside of rooting for your team.Bunk Moreland said:

I think Lebron is about the life now. He won with Miami. He won with his hometown. He's earned a billion dollars and his brand is "the greatest player ever in a 1A/1B converation with Air Jordan". He has nothing to prove to anyone at this point.
He's also 33, and he has a son playing prep school in Los Angeles. His family is out there now living the Hollywood life. He has 2 houses in LA.

You also have to look at the fact that LeBron has about 55000 total NBA minutes played so far. I realize he keeps himself in fantastic shape and rumors are that he devotes like 2mm/year to recovery, but that is going to catch up to him eventually. He turns 34 at the beginning of the season. Kobe was the same way. Kept himself in fantastic shape, wasn't hurt often. Then one day his achilles tendon blew out on a non-contact first step.

I don't think the Lakers as currently constructed are a top 5 team (regular season), and will have troubles well before reaching the conference finals.
