My coworker is from Chicago and hates when I tell him that Mad Max owned MJ.

Akeem had a winning record vs Jordan.

It does for us but not for Chris Paul.

Not a rockets fan so I consider myself unbiased.

I need to go watch the game, but it seems unlikely that the warriors would win the next 3 in a row ( rockets too)

I'd bet money on it ( since it's legal now) that the series goes 6 or 7 for sure.

I'm glad the warriors wasted the front running sips 38 point effort tonight.

Durant couldn't hack it as leader of the thunder, so he went to the warriors.

Man, those were some fun Rockets teams to watch. Maxwell and, of course, Dream are a couple of my all-time favorite NBA players. I love this current Rockets squad, too, obviously.

Astros won last night, too, on a complete game shut-out GEM by Verlander. It's a great morning, y'all !

Some good news about CP3's ankle would be a nice addition.

Obviously PJ Tucker isn't going to shoot close to where they did last night again. In fact I'd expect his percentage to tank in game 3. Eric Gordon has been off all playoffs and this was his return to the mean game that took his playoff 3 point % to .359 (his reg. season was .360).

The Silver lining is that you only shot the ball 38% from 3. It wasn't THAT lucky of a shooting game. And Harden and Paul went 4/20. So even if everyone else sucks, Harden and Paul can shoot hot enough for us to get one game in Oakland.

All credit goes to Pringles for the adjustments after game 1. He's been great with them throughout the playoffs too.

Just need a split in GS. I'm sure they'll be coming out firing on all cylinders with their home court. Looks like the line is out and it's GS -7. I figured it would be lower than that.

No, they think it's worth ~4 points which is pretty standard for NBA.

"We're very comfortable about who we are. We can beat anybody, anywhere at any time playing the way we play. Some people might not like it. Sorry. You know, it might not look good to some people, but it's effective, it's efficient."

Pringles doesn't seem worried.

Off day topic: Why are we dropping confetti after last night's game? Confetti is for series clinching wins and championships.

This was a common criticism of Philly after their debacle. Most teams do it after every playoff win.

...apparently somebody hasn't been to Toyota Center when the Rockets win. RPD and Launch Crew will also dance on the court after a victory, is that ok?

The philly criticism was that they dropped the confetti for a TIE game, not a win. Philly forced OT and then dropped the confetti....and then proceeded to lose.

The delay and then the eventual loss have to be the funniest thing so far in this playoffs.

I still think its crazy we put up 127 points because of guys like Ariza, Tucker, and Gordon vs. our three-headed monster of Harden-Paul-Capela. We had been waiting for a while to have our role players step up.

Differences in Game 2:
-Moving without the ball on offense and communicating on defense
-Moving away from the pick and roll with Capela
-Not giving up easy buckets, and actually getting some for ourselves
-G1 Warriors 18-3 advantage in fast break points - G2 Rockets 12-7 advantage
-Energy and effort on both ends of the floor and not adopting a woe is me attitude on bad calls from the zebras

I was at the series clinching game 5 win against the Jazz, an appropriate game to drop confetti and streamers. I don't remember confetti drops for regular season wins.

Well yeah, thought that was a given. But people were calling them out "who shoots confetti for a random playoff game anyways?".

Well, bottom line is Toyota and Oracle aren't even in the same conversation in terms of toughest places to play. Only way Rockets to even think we really had home court advantage was there was 5 games played at Toyota and 2 at Oracle.

But just talking from a spread perspective, you are usually talking about 2-4 points for home court advantage at most (unless significant altitude is involved which might bump it another half-point).

Difference between Oracle and Toyota when it comes to Vegas odds is typically going to be less than a bucket.
