Welp it was a fun season. Hoping the Cavs do something to make next year more interesting, anyone have any ideas?

Item 1 on every team's off-season to-do list should be sending a hitman to injure some warriors. Within a couple weeks I'll be ready to believe again that the spurs have a good chance at the Warriors, but right now I just watched them roll in a cakewalk. They didn't even play their best basketball because they didn't have to.

This free agency is either going to see several HUGE names switch teams (via free agency or monster, blockbuster trades), or it's going to be so boring you won't know what to do with yourself.

There are a select few teams who could land a superstar and realistically give themselves a shot at unseating the Warriors/Cavs. The Spurs could land CP3, the Clippers could run it back and make a trade for a 4th piece, and the Rockets could find someone to run with Harden, making that offense even scarier. While no team is only one piece away from taking down Golden State, all of these teams could give the Warriors a series.

The rest of the playoff field needs to seriously consider trading their big names and accumulating draft capital. Outside of the Spurs, Rockets, Clippers and Celtics, no one else is beating the Warriors/Cavs. It used to be that if you were in the top 4-5 seed range of the playoffs, you had a shot. That doesn't really exist anymore. A 50 win team used to be a goal, and now it falls under the lottery/lower playoff seed purgatory.

Most teams don't want to hear this, but a 2-4 year tank job similar to the Philly model might be the way to go. Accumulate as much draft capital as you can and wait for the Warriors to come back to Earth.

The Warriors can't pay everyone max money, and even on reduced salaries, those 4 players will take 80-90 percent of the cap each year. If they rattle off 2-3 more titles with this group, at least one or two of these guys is going to go to another team and cash in while they are still worth the max.

All jokes aside, the Warriors are an injury away from crashing back to Earth. Curry hasn't had ankle problems in a couple years, but you can't ignore the past, and he is only getting older.

Durant missed 1/4 of the season.

Once you lose 1 or 2 of these pieces, all of a sudden they can't keep throwing all-stars at you in waves. That's when their lack of a bench will show.

Warriors will win next year's NBA title unless somebody gets injured or they get complacent.
