Auston Trusty set to join Sheffield United on permanent deal from Arsenal. Fee is £5m as reported yesterday. Viewed as superb business as USMNT defender was identified following consultation with Colorado Rapids (owned by KSE) & was valued at $1.5m in 2021. #AFC #TwitterBlades https://t.co/YRHvNoUbku

Brentford have been informed by player side that he wants to join Arsenal — and talks between clubs over formula/price are now expected to accelerate. pic.twitter.com/jnUlQsXyDU
I was too but then the advanced stats that wangus posted last page have me more aligned to it. Raya was better in literally every categorychjoak said:
Raya would be HG
I'm on the fence as well. I am all for competition, especially with Rams having some brain fart moments at times but just seems like a weird situation given we just reupped Rams.
Brentford are asking for 40m. I've seen several claim they think the deal gets done for less than 30m with add-ons. But I agree, even at 30m it seems like a waste of resources given we already have a strong GK. If the deal goes through, I would bet that either Raya or Rams is sold next summer for 40-50m.
Some of that is deceptive because the team in front of him and the varying situations each was in. The only stats that are 100% comparable that Raya was most certainly better... long pass comp % and crosses gathered. That said, Raya could end up being much better for us. Guess we will find out.gougler08 said:I was too but then the advanced stats that wangus posted last page have me more aligned to it. Raya was better in literally every categorychjoak said:

The left side is definitely not the equal of the right. It will be interesting to watch Martinelli, Trossard, Rice, Havertz and ESR this season. Need to be better there so opponents get spread thin. Might be key to the season's success.wangus12 said:
Obviously its just preseason, but man we never really look threatening if Odegaard and Saka don't play. Rotating for cup competitions is probably going to be a mess again

Unfortunately he had a little procedure this morning. He’s had some discomfort in his knee that caused him some issues so they had to go in. He’s going to be out for a few weeks.
