You can still give a red card if you kick someone in the stomach, not sure I get your point.
I don't think 80% of possessions in the box result in goals so why should a foul in the box result in a pk with an 80% chance of a scoring.

That was a dive by a GK who was way way out of his area. He wanted to get bailed out.
