The road to the Olympics is rarely easy, and for Annie Kunz, the grind finally paid off at the United States Olympic Trials in June. With the heptathlon slated to begin on August 3, Texas FilmWorks takes you inside Annie's journey to Tokyo.

  • Wednesday, August 4: Long Jump - 7:40 p.m.

Great video. Just saw on the USATF website that Annie is 1 of 65 elite athletes receiving a 2021 Stephen A. Schwarzman elite athlete grant of $30,000. Another interview I saw she indicated she is considering staying with the sport, Next years Worlds are in Eugene, and 2023 Worlds are in Budapest.
