Dest obviously the major bright spot. I think the midfield was great, Acosta and Musah in particular. Lletget will be a bench guy for a full squad, and isn't terrible, but his actions in the run of play needed a little more tempo. Good enough/versatile enough to make the WC squad though and his set piece delivery was largely good.
Sargent has to do better even though he didn't get any clear cut chances.
For those that missed it, the broadcast noted Dike has picked up a knock and that's why he isn't in the squad.
Defense still has some question marks. Long got outmuscled and then Brooks got caught flat-footed in the same sequence, which a better team would have punished. Dest also got beat in behind twice and Cannon gave up a dangerous free kick.
Overall we look very good though, and positive in and out of possession. Gotta feel like this team will be hard to handle by the time we're hosting in 2026. As good as some of these guys are, they need a bit more seasoning and physical maturity. Should still be fun to watch in the meantime.
