It's also time for FPL. The real Fantasy Football.

General Info & Chips:
You have unlimited transfers until Friday at 1PM CST. Then the rosters lock down and you get 1 free transfer per week. You can carry over 1 transfer which would allow you to have 2 free transfers the next week. However, only one transfer can be carried over.

Wildcards (2) - Unlimited transfers for a gameweek. 1 must be used in the first half of the season and one in the 2nd half.

Free Hit - It's basically a one week Wildcard. aka you have unlimited transfers for one week, but your lineup reverts back to your previous team after that week is over. Those are good for the "Blanks" which are those random weeks where only 8 teams play due to cups, etc.

Triple Captain - Captain points are tripled for one gameweek

Bench Boost - Your whole team is active. 15 players can score points instead of 11. Good to use on the weeks where there is a double gameweek i.e. team plays Wed/Sun or similar so you could theoretically have 15 players playing twice.

First timer here....suggestion on the classic league or H2H given that? I'll figure out how all this works in the next couple of weeks but also don't want to be overly FNG.

ETA - it looks like the same team can be used in both leagues, so maybe this isn't really choosing between one or the other.

Yes use the same team for both leagues.

Only one team per account and they'll be in either/both leagues. Classic is much more enjoyable imo. You can join several other leagues if you follow any of that sort of thing. Lots of FPL content out there on twitter.

H2H is more frustrating but fun as well. Interesting they have Pulisic costing 7.5

So how does it work? You get a fresh $100 to spend after every week? Or you keep your roster but can sell players?

100m to build your initial squad. You can make unlimited moves until the Gameweek 1 deadline (1pm CST Friday). You get one free transfer per week (additional moves cost 4 points unless on Wildcard or Free Hit chip). You can carry over one transfer if you don't use it. However you can't carry over more than 1 (for a max of 2 transfers).

Sidenote "no chest hair united" is an amazing name we played a team with that in our local 3v3 tourney last weekend.

Going to enjoy this because my oldest (8) watches the games with me and he wants to be the next Pulisic so huge Chelsea fans

For the transfers each week, is a transfer for one player removed and one player added or is it one transaction in which multiple players are involved? For example, if I remove two players and add two more in the same transaction, is that one transfer or two?

It's 1-1. Each player out is a separate transfer.

If you make no transfers one week, your free transfer carries over and you can make two free transfers the following week.

But it only accumulates two, you can't wait 15 weeks and free transfer replace your whole squad.

Man, I'm 1-3 in our H2H league with all those losses coming from a total of a 12 point difference.

I feel for ya....

After Wk 5, African Winners is running away with the league up 21pts on 2nd place. Only 6 pts separates 2nd from 8th.
