Him to go with McKennie and pulisic with Altidore and Boyd is a dangerous combo.
Mexico with ET in both knockout rounds, not really sure how much of a difference that makes. They also looked vulnerable to the press in multiple games
Miazga has the physical tools to play for Chelsea. His positioning and marking keep him from being a first team choice. He looks great most of the time.

Haiti really exploited them at times. But they are dangerous up front. I think a lot of goals are possible in the final.

I wouldn't say he nailed the subs. Zardes had a terrible game, it was a negative play for us any time he was near the ball

Altidore had to come out of the game. You want him physically fit for the final. He also picked up a yellow card in the first half by being a knucklehead. Altidore had to sit.
Zardes is the logical choice to replace Altidore. Zardes has played pretty well in the Gold Cup. Last night was his worst performance of the tournament.

What? Zardes has sucked the entire tourny. I don't have enough hands and toes to count the entirety of his muffs, misses, and just generally bad play. Hell the best thing he's done this tourny is draw penalties.

I think we would have been up 3-0 or so at half if there had not been a weather delay. The tactical changes they made are really hard to implement on the fly during a half.
We don't know if Boyd has a slight injury he was nursing. Roldan was a better option IMO for defense than Boyd. I was surprised Morris started ahead of Boyd, but again could be an injury issue.
You may be right about Omar, I hope we give the young CBs the experience of playing against Mexico, but you may be right. I love Omar as a person and his career, but he doesn't need to ever see the pitch again in a US jersey.

I think Boys not playing was due to fatigue. Also I doubt Omar playing against El Tri. I suspect Zimmerman is back in the lineup along with Long.
