He had control of the ball, juggled it up and headed it to the keeper. He was about 3 ft from the post when he did it. Ref called an indirect kick, then moved the ball to the corner of the 6 yard box. No card given to the defendermathguy86 said:
Went out for dinner and missed some fun. Sounds like we had a back pass?
I agree. I think it's at least partially due to Schalke playing him damn near everywhere on the field.PatAg said:
I'm a big McKennie fan, and he is still very young...but he hasnt really played that well this year.
apparently this year, with new management, they had been playing him primarily centrally until very recently when they had injuries to their center backs. So that should bode well for his development.deadbq03 said:I agree. I think it's at least partially due to Schalke playing him damn near everywhere on the field.PatAg said:

Hope so. He was playing at mid when I saw him this season (v. Leipzig) and he seemed a bit out of sorts then too.PatAg said:apparently this year, with new management, they had been playing him primarily centrally until very recently when they had injuries to their center backs. Quote:
If the offence occurs inside the goal area (6 yard box), then the ball is brought to the top of the goal area, near where the offence occurred.
In this situation - or any where the kick is to occur less than 10 yards from the goal - the defence may line up along the goal line under the posts. This means both feet are to remain on the line - it does not mean they can plant one on the line and lunge forward.
My bad. I thought you were wondering why it was placed there. Seems immaterial for you to mention it in the first place.PatAg said:
