I voted for Chadli's goal because it was the best ending to a game a saw. I will say that Nacho's goal was very similar to Pavard's goal but he hit the **** out of that compared to Pavard. Pavard's goal meant more though when thinking about impact on the tournament.

That was tough. I went with Quaresma's outside of foot. Could've easily gone Pavard, Nacho, or that Modric goal. Some other nice ones, but I didn't give much credit to the goals against Panama. The Chadli goal on that counter was beautiful soccer.

I was so impressed with Lukaku.

Imagine training your entire life to lead the line for your country in a world cup knockout match, all while trying to turn any half chance into an opportunity. That's what you're trained to do.

And then, during that break, with your country's WC life hanging in the balance... you have the presence of mind to dummy to Chadli to seal it.

I have no clue how he turned his striker instincts off in that moment. Just incredible.

He had a fantastic World Cup. Shame the English press will continue to slag him off. Same with Pogba.

The Pavard goal literally made me gasp with glee. I squealed.

pavard's was pretty great!

I still love messi's in the 3rd round of the group stage, though.


and I loved kroos's goal vs Sweden, as well.

Sometimes, when I can't sleep. I think of moments of athletic brillance.

I remember my swing on my beautiful 300+ drive and how I reached the green in 1.

And I also remember my only home run in baseball.

One was 20 years ago, the other 33.
