You boys are in for it. Mou has put his tactical britches on and come out with the best lineup in years. Just look at the depth on our bench. You can't match that kind of firepower.

Could be worse.

We could have paid $110 million for a bench warmer.

Top of the table!

Really think we should've chipped away further at the GD against a weaker squad, however.

Don't get me started. Woodward and Mou both need to go.

Alisson likes to make things interesting. What's that's they say? Hope is the cruelest of mercies?

Interesting quote from none other than Roy Keane. I have to admit I agree

https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11669/11583559/liverpools-premier-league-title-hopes-assessed

Roy Keane - "There are trophies on the way to Anfield"

"Can they maintain it? Without a shadow of a doubt. They have the squad, they all seem onside - when you win football matches you get that momentum, confidence. Unless they have a disaster with injuries to their attacking players, they'll be in the mix.

Fabinho was otherworldly today. Hope he can do it the rest of the season.

First match in Anfield. No VVD, but also no Muller.

Going to need World Cup Lovern to show up.

Apparently this is the third time Mourinho has been fired after a loss to Klopp.

Do not want. Poch is a good coach who needs to stay away from ManU and their resources.

Agreed, he's a great manager and could do good things there. I think the word on the street is that he's done about all he can do at Spurs and he's frustrated at no transfers, stadium, etc. ManU is a mess and a longer term project, but he could build his own team with unlimited resources. Think Klopp without a budget (not that ours was small haha).

He definitely has to make some changes as that team lacks talent compared to us, City, Chelsea, and even Spurs. That's an expensive team for 2 world class players (Pogba and De Gea, IMO). I think Poch could come in and garner immediate respect, which would help him with guys like Pogba and Sanchez for sure.

I thought with Poch extending his contract, a flurry of transfers were in the making but that never happened. Man U will definitely give him the money to make changes but I have a feeling Tottenham will do the same in an effort to keep him.

You can talk about Poch all you want. I want a certain glasses wearing German who already looks good in red.

He is and United has unlimited resources but as long as Woodward is involved in how they are used, any coach is going to be limited there. United really need to hire a proper director of football at the end of the year but I'm not convinced they will.

Up 2-0 with goals by Salah and VVD.

VVD has put on an absolute defending clinic. I wouldn't even challenge him if I were a forward...

Lallana came on for Keita, who appeared to maybe have an ab injury? Lallana has looked great since getting on the field.
