I think we'll be #1 seed because their loss will be to a common opponent and our loss is not.

Texas Tech (rpi #69) has taken West Virginia (#6) to OT.

Oklahoma State (who we tied) is currently tied for the lead in the conference race.

Vandy has a hell of a schedule to close out the season. Their last 5 games are against the top 5 teams in the league.

Looks like we have clinched the #6 seed in the SEC Tournament which means a first day bye. Georgia is the only team eliminated from the Tournament.

Crazy that an 0-8 team can go head to head with an 8-0 team.

This opens all sorts of possibilities for the last game.
If Texas A&M wins and Florida wins or ties then A&M is the lone champion.
If Texas A&M ties and Florida wins then Texas A&M will be a co-champion.

South Carolina's goal was on a PK as well, not even in the run of play.

Things are working out for us. Florida beat SC and we are the champs. They tie and we are co-champs and probably we are #1 seed. Good for last place Georgia.

Not quite, the co-champ scenario would be if A&M ties Miss St and Florida beats SC.

Also if Florida beats SC but we lose to Miss St then SC is the champ, not us.

This statement has many flaws in it.
1. If SC loses to Florida, then we would still need to win to be lone champs, tie to be co champs with SC, or lose and we finish in second place with Florida.
2. If SC and Florida tie, then we would still need to win to be lone champs, tie would have us in second place, or lose and we finish in lone second place.
3. If SC wins, then we finish in sole second place despite whatever our result ends up being.

This is how the standings are sitting right now.
South Carolina.... 25
A&M.....................24
Florida..................21

There is no way for Florida to claim any part being a champion, so it comes down to us and SC.
SC just has to match our result in order to be lone champion. We have to do one better than them in order to claim co champ or lone champ.

MSU may make the SEC Tournament for the first time since we joined the SEC.

I think they have already clinched. Georgia is locked in 12th place. 11th place is a fight between Kentucky, LSU, and Missouri. LSU and Missouri play each other so at most only one of those two teams can get 9 points (what Miss St. has currently.

Let's just say Miss St loses, Kentucky wins, and LSU wins. That would mean that Georgia and Missouri would miss.

Just a shocking tie for SC and really they deserved to lose that game. 2 breakaway 1v1 for Georiga in 2OT and they missed both of them! But a great performance from them and SC finally had a bad outing at the wrong time. A&M needs to take advantage of that mistake and beat MSU to claim the title. I think Florida will at least get the tie vs SC. Going to be an exciting Thursday night for sure.

Well naturally I am assuming we are going to win. With that assumption, there are no flaws.
