You spelled Omar Gonzalez wrong in your thread title.
Omar plays RCB and is backup to Cameron. Ream/Besler fights it out for LCB backup to Brooks.
Should be either one of the FCDallas center back duo.
Cameron-Besler would be my preference.
Sucks for Brooks though. Hope he gets back and can get his spot on the team, need him to get meaningful pt before Russia.

...I'm not sure that the Bruce is as much of a stickler for that as say a Louis Van Gaal. Gonzalez and Cameron partnered against Mexico in Azteca so I'm pretty sure Bruce is OK playing them together.

Good point...but I still don't think Ream gets 1st crack at partnering with Geoff. Maybe I'm wrong.
You're probably right with Besler 1st up. I've always liked Ream.

Didn't get much help from Cameron either. They both looked like crap. (Of course, we asked them to contribute too much in helping the mids as well.)
While watching that game I wasn't even sure we had any CBs
I can't speak to the individual players, but that partnership can never see the light of day in a meaningful match again.
