It won't take us long to climb the ranks! Pretty amazing that we start the season unranked.

Obviously this preseason poll is an absolute joke. This is the old NSCAA poll which has been renamed United Soccer Coaches. I'm pretty shocked that some of these coaches are this clueless but the preseason rankings are based on how schools finished the previous season. South Carolina at #4 after losing their entire starting lineup with the exception of McKaskill? They basically only look at the teams that were ranked and reorder them based on who they think is returning on the rosters. It won't take long for A&M to climb into the top 10 once folks see us play. I think we'll see a more accurate poll from TDS whose analysts actually study the returning teams.
