Gus Johnson is the GOAT. This announcer sounds like he is trying to do what he does in Spanish with the flair and all that but in English and it doesn't seem to translate well.

I'm glad VaR can fix that but what the hell was the AR looking at. There were 4 Portugal players offside. And they weren't even close. Dude. You have a flag. Raise it. This is what VAR is going to lead to. ARs that just keep flags down so that VAR can sort it out later.
And a side note, the VAR is Jair Marrufo, a S Texas ref. There are 3 guys just in S Texas with FIFA badges. It's generally considered the best and most competitive region in the US for ref training.
