Honest question - What about this current coaching staff gives you hope that this talent won't be wasted?

better question: with the product this coaching staff has produced the last few years, what are the chances we end up getting the death penalty for the things they have done to compile the #2 class in the nation?

This talent level will overshadow any coaching deficiencies that may be there. Stansbury seems to be very well respected and could provide a spark for this team.

Addressing both questions, A&M has been on these guys for a long time so they have a good relationship with the studs that have committed. Offering Avery Johnson was a gamble that paid off as he was able to help recruit his friends. You know these guys want to play for each other, so hopefully you will see these guys playing hard and not taking games off as we have seen before.

It's certainly exciting, so I am looking forward to seeing what happens next year. This year is anyone's guess. We get some new talent but it's still a tossup if we'll make the tournament.
