My mom recently visited this weekend and brought my old binders of MANY sports cards and superhero cards.

All of the cards are from the late 80's and early 90's and I'm fairly certain some are worth some $$ now (Michael Jordan/Magic Johnson/Nolan Ryan/Wolverine/Spider Man etc). Can anyone point me to a trusted resource or a place near B/CS to get an idea of what some of these items are worth?

I like these folks who have a shop in tower point. I have done some buying/selling there. They can give you an idea on pricing, they will likely offer to buy at 50% to 70% of the retail value. They will also list on eBay for a % of the sale amount, not sure what that percentage is.

Grading's expensive, but it's definitely worth it if you have valuable cards in top condition and don't mind paying/waiting. Raw cards sell for far less than graded cards. To get an idea of what some of your better cards are selling for, search eBay (Completed Items/Sold Items).
