Looking to sell my STI Eagle in 9mm. This has been my main competition handgun for the last couple of seasons, but I've been shooting so much PCC that it doesn't get a lot of use anymore. I am the second owner. It has about 5000 down the tube, and lots of dry fire practice. Runs like a top.

Asking $1900 $1700 $1600 for the pistol and 6 mags (3 gen 2 with TTI basepads, 3 gen 1 with unmarked basepads)

Asking $1600 $1500 $1400 for just the pistol.

Only trade I'm interested in is for a P320 X-Compact or similar (plus cash) as I'm wanting to build a new compensated P320.

On a 2011, 5000 rounds is a drop in the bucket. Some people put 100k through a 2011 before the barrel needs replacing, and it's typically the slide that cracks first, not the barrel wearing out. This barrel probably has another 50k+ before I'd even consider needing to put a new barrel in it. The dry fire is why you see the finish wear on the slide that you do, lots of in and out of a holster, but has zero affect on the function.

I'd like to know where you're seeing 1400-1930 for a new STI/Staccato, because I need to buy 2 at those prices. Brand new Staccatos go for $2000 at the base builds and go up to $4000+.

Each mag is about $100 a piece when you have the tube, spring, follower, and baseplate. I'm selling 6 for $300.

Yes, dry fire is "firing" the gun with no ammo in it. It's a great way to work on trigger technique, practice drawing, reloading, etc. But all of that has no affect on a centerfire handgun, other than finish wear from the holster.

Yes I understand and again makes perfect sense the wear from you being a competitive shooter

If your offer is around what I'm asking for, I could really care less what you do with the gun after you buy it. Just trying to move it to clear funds for a new project that I'm thinking about way too much.
