Have a Volquartsen Custom Shop 17 hmr for sale. This is their stainless steel model in a brown laminated sporter stock with fluted match barrel, 32-hole stainless threaded compensator, silver trigger guard, and match chamber. Scope and rings are not for sale at the asking price. Factory cost for rifle today as configured with shipping would be $2,026 (see attached order form). I am asking $1750 - Now $1650 and will come with 250 rounds of ammo. Sale will be face to face or buyer will arrange shipping from a local FFL. Location is Tyler, Tx. This rifle has had less than 150 round fired and is in like new condition. Although the 17 hmr is an inherently accurate cartridge, with this rifle's heavy match grade barrel and chamber, it is very precise from shot to shot to shot. Where this rifle shines is in a target-rich environment such as in a prairie dog town, pecan orchard for crows, or over a body of water with nutria or beaver in late afternoon. A good quality scope is needed to take full advantage of this rifle's ability. If a buyer is interested in the pictured scope as well, then a price for that can be negotiated.
