Beautiful property! Do you own any minerals and will they be conveyed?

Reason I ask is that there has been an uptick in drilling activity in Washington county, including the rig that is just down the road from your property, that is making some buyers a little hesitant without some surface protections or minerals.

ags2007: Thanks for the comments on the property. We are not conveying any minerals with the land. That being said, most of the wells they are drilling these days have long horizontals, so they can just drill under the property if necessary. After visiting with friends in the business, it doesn't seem like this part of Washington county has much mineral production potential.

SPI: There have been quite a few properties sell over $15K/acre in the area. There are properties available in the 12K/acre range but they are much more plain properties without live oaks, paved road, spring creek, etc. Also, smaller acreage tracts are selling for closer to $30K/acre. I think the close proximity to Houston definitely has driven up the land values in Washington County.

The virus must be winding down, or everyone is just wanting to enjoy the nice weather. We had a couple agents asking to show the property this week. So, we have our place available to be shown again. During the down time, we also had a water well drilled with a solar pump installed.
The property is SOLD!
