I attended the LSU game this year, and that was the loudest I've experienced Kyle. We were in a FB section, and all of us in the surrounding area were yelling and standing about as much as the 12th man.

But considering the amount of tu fans that will be in attendance, as well as the possibility that those dropping the entry fee necessary to attend may not be as inclined to yell as much, will Kyle Field still break a noise record?

It should - considering what this game means and the renewed rivalry. But will those factors impact the situation?

Will we be down by 14, five minutes into the game?

That will probably determine how loud it is.

During Texas A&M's game against Alabama in 2017, a blocked punt by the Aggies caused the crowd to reach 126 decibels, setting a new Kyle Field record.

My two friends and I were at the LSU game, and we will be going to the Texas game. If we force a turnover, I think we will break 126 decibels.

In the spirit of mirror out, i think if enough well-positioned students on phones could generate high intensity modulated frequencies, they might interfere with Qeweers helmet comms. Think mirror out, just different frequency spectrum. I'm not a physicist but I bet there are some that could help here.
