I fully expect to turn on the pregame show and listen to everyone predict a 34-14 ish Aggie win. They always do that before we play a night road game and walk out of the first quarter down 2 touchdowns.

This is a playoff game and should be treated as such.

I'm sure Elko tries every week to motivate the guys. But there is so much as a coach you can do. It's up to the players. You know he tried extra hard the second after the LSU game saying USC will be the hardest game we will have to play.

For clarity, I'm a big Elko fan. Couldn't be more happy with the decision. It won't be as a result of his lack of trying.

The Fightin' Texas Aggies are going in to the playoffs…
- down to their 3rd and 4th RBs, which their running game is/was the strength of the team
- with 2 QBs, who both have noticeable weaknesses
- with no playmakers at WR who have step forward
- significant issue with setting the edges on defense to stop the run, or passes in flats to RBs or TEs
- tackling issues that show up from time to time
- too many untimely penalties
- special teams, kicking, punting, and a solid return man in Bussey may win us a few tight playoff games. (One could say our hopes are pinned on a true freshman.)
