Do we have a shot or is he sip bound?
him and evan stewart on same team would be silly. that said, i hope he goes to oregon and their qb sucks all year!P.U.T.U said:
Texas is by far the front runner with Ohio State and Oregon coming in next
Good contracts always have exit clauses…merch said:
If one decommits, were they committed? I think they just strongly preferred a school at a particular time. And that is ok. But it isn't even like you committed and enrolled and attended and then left. All you did was say "I'm committed".
Let your yes be your yes and your no be your no.
Side note: Texas has way more money than LSU.

This. These were his previous top options in addition to LSU. He's already said he isn't opening it back up to additional possibilities.P.U.T.U said:

Agreed. My hope is he goes to Oregon (stay out of the SEC) and a prima donna struggle ensues with ES. Would make for good TVevestor1 said:him and evan stewart on same team would be silly. that said, i hope he goes to oregon and their qb sucks all year!P.U.T.U said:

Probably more related to the previous HC not holding players accountable for anything. It's kinda difficult to get the most out of 5-star talent without proving to them that you care about their careers and lives.vander54 said:fightinag said:

That's worked so well for us in the past
Sometimes there is a period of required performance followed by a re-evaluation. But in this case I suspect the contract wasn't fully executed…largely because there never was any consideration from the school to the student athlete that would meet conventional contract law. And yet the NCAA got away with it for decades.merch said:
Of course…for failure of a party to do what is agreed to in the contract. Not because one party woke up and changed their mind. At least, not without penalty.
Or Kelly knew he was about to lose him when he made that statement.ahpetty33 said:
He must not have liked Kelley's negative tone towards paying top dollar for talent
We didn't buy anyone...TexAgs and Jimbo told me so. Other schools do that. NEVER A&M. Kids all wanted to come here because they loved it here....vander54 said:fightinag said:

The pre-signing day verbal "commitments" (we need a different word) is more akin to a letter of intent rather than a contract. Even with a signed commitment, the contract really only commits the parties until the next portal window.merch said:
