He went off on a tangent and said Jimbo was getting killed by his own people for some reason.

Weird man.

I like how he said that most coaches could almost get caught doing the same thing. I like Pittman.

He's probably getting heat from Arky fans after losing to BYU.

Not surprising that Jimbo interviewed him.

Yeah, that dude's got what the kids call "riz." I have a hard time imagining how anyone could hate on him on top of that.

Put him in a non-financially-bound situation (i.e. NIL, assistant salaries, facilities, etc.) elsewhere and he could be a real threat.

He had previously done a 2 minute answer on having to delete how Twitter (which he only had for recruiting), bc Arky fans be crazy and have been sending him endless fk'ed up ***** "Being a public figure makes people feel they have license to say whatever to you, about you, with no shred of decency" was the gist. So he's following up here and saying he's not the only coach getting murdered by his own fans.

Nothing weird about the answer at all if you're not looking for it to be.

They were talking about firing him online after the BYU loss. He seems pretty relaxed about it knowing he'd get a buyout.

lol. He was previously saying how some Arkansas fans want him fired after the BYU game, so he was saying that Jimbo also deals with that. (like an "aren't we all?" sentiment.)

I'm sure it's because he is getting killed by the Arkansas fans

I don't think Arkansas' resources are why they lost to Liberty and BYU though. They have far more advantages than both.

Pittman has definitely revived Arkansas from the Chad Morris era but he has to get better at in-game management.

Of all rival coaches to dislike, I'd put Pittman pretty low on the list. Seems like an ok guy.

Coach Pittman is a great man and the Hogs are fortunate to have him leading their program. I'd play for the guy in a heartbeat. I try to catch his Monday interviews regardless of whether they are playing us. I thought what he had to say about Social Media was spot-on too. Should be another nail biter this weekend.

Pittman seems like a good dude. I'd be fine with them beating every other team except us.

If he gets fired I'd take him as Adazzio's replacement in a heartbeat!

I just can't see him coaching at any other school. Him and Brett Bielema just look like the schools mascot. Especially when yelling at refs.

Sam Pittman is a great fit for Arkansas. He has transformed Arkansas into a much more competitive team from the Chad Morris era, but he has to make better late-game decisions. Pittman is 4-11 in games decided by 7 points or less, including home losses to Liberty last year and BYU this year. He is 3-9 (1-3 in 2020, 2-2 in 2021, 0-3 in 2022, and 0-1 so far this year) in SEC games decided by 7 points or less, including 1-3 against LSU.

I really like Sam P. Nice guy and when they beat us for the first time 2 years ago, he really was classy.

Good coach.

Pittman is a good coach and a great guy. Good fit for Pig. If he has them bowl eligible that is all they can really ask for really. He earned every penny of his contract extension and raise by making Arkansas relevant again and a tough team to play and beat.
