Barring running the table after a transformational decision like a new DC, the season is already a disaster.

The defense didn't even want to be on the field. They wanted nothing to do with contact.

Urkin just sat back and did what he did all of last year.

This team may compete when they play Bama and LSU but that's about it. They are only here for the mo way and a few good looks to get drafted.

Miami may very well be a good team and have a great season, but the thing that feels devastating about the loss is how apathetic we looked. Miami clearly wanted the game more than us and were more physical. That's a major red flag for me going forward with this team and doesn't make me feel optimistic.

Funny enough, we might go 7-5 this year with wins over LSU and Bama because for some reason those are the only games Jimbo can get his team to play a full 60 minutes for.

@LSU - Loss, revenge game for LSU and we have not won in Baton Rouge since 1994.

In summary, I think our ceiling is 9-3 (6-2 SEC) with toss-up games against Alabama and Ole Miss. To finish even 8-4, we would need to go 5-3 in SEC games. A 5-3 SEC record would mean just our 4th winning SEC record (6-2 in 2012, 5-3 in 2018, and 8-1 in 2020) in 12 years in the SEC and the 3rd such season under Jimbo Fisher.

Have you not been reading the tweets of our site's fearless leader the last couple of days? He straight up claimed Bama is down and the sips double digit win over the #3 team isn't really that impressive.

Never mind he'll turn around and pimp our 9 win season against an all SEC SEC COVID season even though it's blatantly obvious most of those teams really were down at the time.
