Feels like I'm in a time machine. We saw these exact threads after App State last year ("that's a salty team with experience!"). They went 6-6. We also saw them the year prior when it took a miracle to beat Colorado 10-7 ("Colorado is going to surprise people, we'll be fine"). They went 4-8.

This team just has too many problems to fix in an in-flight season.

OP is a terrible sunshine pumper. A true pumper would be telling you we can 11-1, win the SEC, and be playing for the NC.

As I posted earlier...if you look at our SEC schedule their are no guarantees we will beat a single one of them.
Not with the kind of performance we saw yesterday.
That was one of a string of horrible games that seems to have no end.
I seriously wonder why the television networks even bother showing A&M games as they know we will choke in every big game.

Don't have to be a "world beater" to beat us. Talent "on paper" that either doesn't measure up or can't measure up, or is poorly coached or playing the wrong scheme, is worth nothing.

I'm not all doom and gloom. The offense did look a lot better, until it became apparent Jimbo was interfering in play calling again.

I see two certain wins, three likely losses(at Tenn, at Ole miss, at LSU)and five toss-ups. 8-4 I think is the ceiling and we would be lucky to get there and avoid a complete meltdown.

I agree except I had LSU as a loss. Also had Miami as a loss.
10-3 with a bowl win = a good season.
