- our young guys are coachable - see hands up on all passes
- we have real depth at QB, with virtually no fall off between Max and Connor
- our ability to read offensive play calls and misdirection is impressive - Johnson calling defensive plays is impressive
- we need to see more from OL, especially on run plays
- Achane ready to explode

One game at a time. Game 1 will always be a learning experience, especially with a young team. We'll be better by Arky. Have to have confidence that the coaches and players will learn how to succeed vs adversity.
I agree with these. I think if King would just check down on a couple plays, it would be a different story.

This is spot on! My only concern is Kings arm strength. I have always thought it was a weakness of his. I was excited to see Max get the start because I thought he had more upside. But I'm not paid to coach, so take my concern with a grain of salt.
I appreciate your calmness. My general sense is that we just came out flat. I hate 11:00 games. I hated going to them as a student too. Not enough time between midnight yell and 11:00am.jturner181 said:

It was definitely a horrible throw/decision, but I do like the fact that King also has the confidence in our receivers to go make plays. Hope our WR group can be the top in the nation.
