2023 Philadelphia (PA) Northeast OL Naquil Betrand commits to Texas A&M
Texas A&M continues to reel in top talent from the Northeast, and today, the good news arrives by way of Philadelphia (PA) Northeast standout OL Naquil Betrand has announced his college decision.
At 6-foot-7, 310 pounds, Betrand’s size is quick to draw attention. He also brings a nasty disposition to the trenches and loves to finish blocks with authority.
Betrand becomes the second addition from the Northeast in the last couple of weeks joining fellow OL Ramsey (NJ) Chase Bisontis. He is the Aggies’ 10th commitment of the 2023 recruiting class and joins Bisontis and Colton Thomasson along the offensive front.
Betrand originally committed to Colorado in March. He took his first visit to Texas A&M in April and received an offer shortly afterward. He re-opened his recruitment in July, and Betrand chose the Aggies over fellow finalists Auburn, Georgia, Kentucky, Penn State and Syracuse.
