Football: SEC is 1a and B1G is 1b

Basketball: B1G >>> SEC

Baseball: SEC >>> B1G

Since 2014, the championship game has featured 9 (of 16) teams from the SEC. The SEC has won 5 of the 8 championships. The B1G has participated in 2 and won the 2014 game. Clemson and the ACC have won 2, more than the B1G.

Even in basketball, the last team from the B1G to win a championship while part of the conference was Michigan State in 2000. Even the SEC has won 3 championships since then.

Sip has no leverage. The SEC does not need sip by any means. Hopefully they leverage their way to the big10.

sip brings in enough TV revenue to go wherever they want. They chose SEC. It's wishful thinking to think It's going to change.

Of the football championships, Alabama accounts for 6 of the 9 appearances and 3 of the 5 wins. Basically, Alabama alone is better than all other conferences, including the rest of the SEC combined.

I believe you have to look beyond one game and look at the strength of the conference as a whole.

In the last 20 years in football…SEC has 14 championships, Big10 has 2, that is not a 1a and 1b mix

Hell, the ACC has 3 in the last 10 years.

Maybe they are 1b
