Sec related and football related because it's Waffle House - Just moved back to CS, wife just excepted a commercial real estate job here .. I told her she would be a legend on Texag if she could make it happen. question- refresh my memory, why have they not buckled and open one here?

Pretty sure there used to be a Waffle House & nobody ate there bc waffle house is absolute garbage

Spend the extra 5 dollars & head to Cracker Barrel, a place where the food isn't absolute garbage

Waffle House was never in CS.

But it is garbage.

I'm also convinced people saying they want a WH have never been to one.. to them it's just the cool thing to do.

I must be mistaken, I thought there was an old abandonded Waffle House on university near texas. across from the soccer fields.

It was long closed by the time I saw the building in mid 2000's


Nonetheless, Waffle House is absolute garbage

Only thing worse is huddle house

There was a Waffle House there. A group of us would make a midnight meal run during the late 70's/early 80's. Back then, there weren't that many choices.

There was never a Waffle House in CS.

On university across from polo fields there was a kettle.. their sign out front did not say "Kettle"
It had individual little signs , one letter on each sign…and in black letters with yellow background it spelled out " PANCAKES"

Looked very very similar to the signage of a Waffle House

I believe this is why many confuse it as there being a Waffle House .. but it was a Kettle.

worked at Wings-n-Things/Wings-n-More in the late '80s on Texas Ave across from the main entrance.... that building used to be a Sambos....

A waffle home would do insanely well in College Station. If students can go get a big plate of breakfast food for under $8, they'll be all over it.

Its really not that gross considering students eat at Sbisa every day
