You can see Sabin getting tripped by the Security Guard on his left side. Most probably that security guard had him by the arm and that's where the bruise came from.
In my mind kind of self inflicted. No one was trying to approach Sabin.

That was my thought as well the first time I saw that. The only person on video acting aggressively around Saban was Barney Fife trucking over women and children that didn't see he was more important than them.

People need to stop with the fake outrage. We had students run on the field after a big win. This has been happening forever and people are fine. Even the throwing stuff on the field. Was it poor sportsmanship and trashy behavior yes. But Finebaum was on TV claiming throwing golf balls was potentially DEADLY. If golf balls were so deadly wouldn't they have to stop playing sports like you know GOLF.

Pretty confident a couple of those times were false positives.
Remember that time Saban complained that the Hurry Up No Huddle offense was dangerous for players? He was all over the news expressing concern with player safety. Then, a few years in the future he got the right players and ran the Hurry Up offense himself. Maybe it wasn't so unsafe after all.
