Will Oklahoma drop 3 spots in the polls after only escaping a 1-2 (probably) Tulane team and only winning by 7-14 to a team (Nebraska) that lost to a 1-3 Illinois team?

Posted the same thing on another thread….probably not. The media bias will keep them at #3 despite their average play. I was fine with dropping the Ags to 7 because they haven't looked like a top 5 team but neither has OU. Media bias will be confirmed tomorrow.

OU with 2 narrow wins at home over mediocre competition… probably net loss of one poll spot.
Ags with a narrow win on the road against a mediocre team after QB1 goes down and has a net loss of 3 (considering the TOSU loss).

Nebraska played their hearts out in a hostile environment. If not for a blocked extra point and 2-point conversion return, the final score would have been 21-17 instead of 23-16. Oklahoma has won 11 consecutive games, which ties Texas A&M for the 2nd active longest streak behind Alabama.
I always thought the Rattler Heisman talk was absurd
OU's Speed D putting on another clinic today. Rattler was solid again. Riley working out the kinks for another playoff run.

They will lose to texas and then both will be in the top 10 and be playoff contenders.
Will Nebraska make a bowl game? OU just won dogfights with Tulane and Nebraska at home. Two teams that would have a very hard time finding a win in the SEC West. Tells you all you need to know about what is wrong with the polls.

I see Owho losing 3 this year: t.u., Iowa st. And Okie lite… they're not good. I watched all 3 games and they aren't a top 10 team. Period.
That Int by their def will keep them at #3. Could be catch of the year and was good.

Another playoff run that ends in another 20+ point defeat. OU doesn't belong.
The good news is you won't have to worry about that anymore once you get to the SEC.
