Longtime Aggie basketball coach Shelby Metcalf first said it. And there is a lot of truth in it. But today it's justified. I can't remember the last time I've been so unhappy with the Ags being up 34-0 and I've been watching Aggie football since 1970. Our OL has not played well and it will be ugly in the SEC unless they grow up fast.

Too late; the win ruined my weekend and the weekends of most TexAgs posters.

I'm happy with the win.

I'm happy with the defense.

I'm not as happy about certain aspects of our offense, because I'm a realist and know what we will face in the upcoming weeks.

There's nothing wrong with feeling that way. Accepting mediocrity breeds mediocrity.

If you listen to Jimbo's comments after the game, he feels the same way, he ain't happy. He said we're average. He hates the word potential. If you have potential, that means you are average. He wants to exceed our potential, because that's what leads to SEC championships and national championships.

We're all disappointed

We have a potentially championship level defense but the most pathetic and inept offense we've had in years

We never ever seem to have all the pieces fall into place and it's just frustrating to watch the same song and dance year after year after year as we never compete for any championships

You're not a bad Aggie for just getting tired of it and finding better uses of your time than fretting over a program cursed to eternal mediocrity that will never compete for anything

We beat a really really really terrible team and didn't find a way to lose to them?!

Let's smile like simpletons and pat ourselves on the back and pretend we don't know this team is bad and will get crushed by every SEC opponent we play

The way I heard it the only happy Aggie is a mad Aggie.

Last year, Aggies were supremely unhappy after 2 games. Then after the third game, the facts changed but their opinion never did.

I've literally never seen Saban, Myers, Spurrier, Bear, or even jackass Stoops give a real smile.

All you're really talking about when you say unhappy Aggie is someone who's actually expects perfection and most likely played on a much higher level than the Nancy's talking about "but we won."

I can understand saying that last week but come on.....we won 34-0. Great performance outside OL.

I've actually met him several times. And no chief, I've never seen him give a genuine smile on the field.

I am just going to lay this nugget out there in our 3-0 start. Our defense has give up 17 pts in 3 games. They haven't given up a pt in 7 quarters. The 1 st team defense has give up 10 pts in 3 games. Through three games our defense has given up 233 total passing yards. This season is going to be a lot of ugly wins. Get used to it we are playing with our backup quarterback but this defense is for real. This season will be like the early 90's for you old enough to remember. We will win double digit games and it will be led by a great defense.

I've watched two plays of Auburn's offense vs p state. They gained a total of three years. Their oline already looks worlds better than ours.
