That's fine. OU wins the big 12 every year but is not a player in the scheme of college football. In the years they do make the playoffs, they get smacked back to reality by an SEC team.

Had we stayed in the Big 12 we would not have become as powerful as we are and would not be in a position to win the big 12.

Gotta play the big boys to take it to the next level. B12 is a Tier 2 conference.

Our recruiting would suffer from the diminished exposure. And the investment would be slower due to less revenue.

Why is that a stupid argument lol they are saying we are better than everyone in the Big 12. They aren't wrong. Take the compliment and move on.

Ask them if Jimbo would be our coach.

I doubt Jimbo even gives us a look if we are still in the sip conference, and therefore our team is not as stout as it is currently constituted.
