After past QB drama, if this causes prima donna recruits to go elsewhere, I'd chalk this up as a win.

Millenials, Gen X, Gen Y, whatever...I still believe top recruits, top athletes understand that there are no shortcuts, no freebies, no easy path to the top. Top performers are always going to want to play for coaches that push hard, strive for excellence. See Bobby Knight. See Nick Saban. See Lou Holtz grabbing facemasks of 6'3" 265lb linebackers and shouting instructions.

We have a 5 star an in the 2022 cycle and a very highly ranked 4 star in 2023. It doesn't seem good coaching is a problem for the best of the best. It is very apparent we have a fan base in this forum who didn't play much sports because what jimbo does is good coaching. To get the best out of your players or from

In the postgame, Jimbo said "you came here because you wanted to play big-boy football". Every QB that comes to A&M knows Jimbo will coach them hard, so the yelling should come as no surprise. Depends on the kid but sometimes you know a kid will respond better to high intensity than others. Ill let the multimillion dollar coach determine how best to coach up his kids.

Jimbo Fisher has done that with every quarterback he has coached. When Jimbo grabbed Tyrell Dodson's face mask ins a 24-17 win over Arkansas on 9/29/18, former NFL players, including then Philadpehia Eagels defensive end Chris Long, disproved of what he did.
