or he may try to push ucf into the sec. Mizzou has a strong hatred towards uf, I think I'd be hilariousThe Lost said:
putting money on him taking the UCF job, the president there is who hired him at mizzou and i think its more home to him. i think it was only expected he'd be there a few more years due to age.
While he technically hired drink who the fans like now, the process was a **** show and the boc overrode his first person he wanted hired.
May not like the NIL stuff/conference change/current president

Wait, what? If that is the "power move" the B1G commish chose, he's toast. He had tu and ou on board and gets Mizzoo in exchange? No.Nino Brown said:
I'm telling you. He wanted to stay in the SEC and Big 10 just offered Mizzou, where the high ups want them to be. It's gonna be a wild next 24 months.
Well Big 10 ain't taking OU. So I think it's a power move and they're trying to **** up the amount of teams in the SEC. Would put SEC back at 15 and then SEC would have to go poach ACC. Forcing Texas to make a decsion about leaving OU or not and gets them another AAU school and St. Louis market. With Kansas and Iowa State on the way Big 10 and SEC are gonna keep playing this for a few more years.aggiehawg said:Wait, what? If that is the "power move" the B1G commish chose, he's toast. Fox Sports is in charge. They don't want Mizzoo. Makes little financial sense.
And no, it is a power move. Due to the fact that once SEC tampers with ACC, Clemson and Florida State, then there goes Virginia, UNC, Duke, Georgia Tech and Pitt into the Big 10. That's 5 AAU schools into new markets. Not the football schools necessarily that SEC looks at but Big 10 keeps it's academic standards and adds has much revenue has possible.aggiehawg said:Wait, what? Sorry, I just meant Pitt, AAU member. Had Maryland on my mind because I've heard that's the possible play Maryland being old rivals of the ACC teams being added. Also gets them into Georgia with Georgia Tech or forces SEC to take them back after they left in 64. Georgia Tech was pretty damn good before leaving and now you'd have Ohio State and Michigan in the deep south recruiting more. 3D chess and yes I believe they're approaching Mizzou to **** **** up or SEC has to vote no to Texas.MyAggie said:
Maryland is already in the B1G, just sayin'

Yep. The SEC truly has no idea what kind of trouble they are inviting in the back door.
They actually believe that Texas will join the conference and just submit themselves nicely to equal status with the other schools.
The ONLY good part about this will be getting the chance to say, "I told you so" to the rest of the league.
They've got no clue what's about to happen.
There is so much truth in this post it's scary.Aginnebraska said:
Wouldn't it be just like the 'horns to be playing the SEC and Big10 against each other for a better conference deal?

Big 10 and SEC are playing 3 D chess to get rid of Big 12 and ACC and establish two Super Conferfences and see what PAC does. Been going on for a long time.
You are so wrong. Golden Rule: He who has the gold, makes the rules. The conferences have content that they sell and it's a limited buyer's market and has been since college ball first started to be televised.Bunk Moreland said:
Every poster who continues to repeat networks being 'in charge' or responsible for these moves is so ass backwards in their thinking and should not be taken seriously.
ESPN is not influencing Texas and OU wanting to join the sec and fox has no influence on anything either.
