Moved my brother from tceh to austin (from houston) after graduation. Rode up to lubbock in a single cab pickup truck with my parents, they divorced 3 years later. It was a LONG trip. Unfortunately after loaded up in lubbock I thought i would get a break and ride with my brother, but my dad insisted on riding with him so I got to drive with my mom crying all the way from Lubbock to Austin.

Having spent 20 years in the Army, there's a lot:

1997 - Ft Benning, GA, to Baumholder, Germany (and back in 2000)
2000 - Ft Benning, GA, to Ft Lewis, WA
2003 - Ft Lewis, WA, to Ft Jackson, SC (and back in 2005)
2007 - Ft Lewis, WA to Ft Bragg, NC

Army movers will pack up EVERYTHING unless specifically told not to. This includes food, trash, etc.

It was rather annoying in 2005, the mover was supposed to be a bonded carrier who could take my gun collection. Not what showed up. Never trusted the Army to arrange to move my guns again after that, always did it myself.

In the end the Party would announce that two and two made five, and you would have to believe it. It was inevitable that they should make that claim sooner or later: the logic of their position demanded it. Not merely the validity of experience, but the very existence of external reality, was tacitly denied by their philosophy. The heresy of heresies was common sense -George Orwell, 1984, Part 1, Chapter 7

Kwajalein Atoll to San Antonio. Dallas to Arangawila, Sri Lanka. I'm not sure you can get further away than the second one.
