There is no pattern to Mond's inconsistent performance against Auburn. Hence the term "inconsistency".

In all seriousness though, context matters. In 2018, a lot of the blame does go to Mond for UCLA'ing it up at the end. In 2019 though, our OL was pretty bad and Red Zone Mond was a huge thing.

That's another thing to remember. Even when we didn't have a "Bad Mond" in the past, he always sucked at Red Zones, like a lot. Nowadays though, when "Bad Mond" doesn't show up, he's actually pretty good in Red Zones.

Exactly. He blew it in 2018, but last year we could not gain a yard running the ball. Fisher should have given up on the run in the first quarter it was so bad. Auburn totally dominated our LOS. Mond actually played OK last year.

I have always rooted for Mond. This was intended to be an objective statistic that served to light even more fire for watching the game. This year, it is nice to know that Mond doesn't have to play well for us to win a game against a quality opponent.

My hope is that he plays really well tomorrow and we beat the ever-living, ever-loving, compound, complex HELL out of Auburn. Just stomp them!

Most of us know. Contrary to popular belief, most of the time it's not difficult to tell whether someone is legitimately criticizing him or bashing on him.

Oh yeah, also, a lot of Mond bashers usually hang out at another forum. They only show up in droves when Mond does badly.

Depends on who shows up tomorrow... Dr. Mond or Kellen Hyde.

I anticipate Auburn will stack the box from the start and force Mond to throw for first downs. Whether or not he can and thereby enable an effective running game will decide the contest. Mond is Gump's box of chocolates.

Had them by 10 on the road and Jimbo kept running pass plays which Mond obviously couldn't execute on.

The pattern driver is decent defenses cause the Legend problems.

Mond has had ONE game in his career where his back was up against the wall and he lit it up. LSU 2 years ago. Even then, he sucked until the 4th qtr when it was all but lost.

As our head coach, this is Jimbo Fisher's first win against Auburn. Hopefully, we will finally beat Auburn at Kyle Field next year.

Gus Malzahn has continued his trend of beating either LSU or Texas A&M every year. He's never beaten both schools in the same year, but never lost to both in the same year either. What's interesting about that trend is that Auburn would play both schools on the road in odd years and at home in even years.
