The dude is one of the few honest brokers in the business.

And the majority of this board was more upset with Sumlin than Brent Z for telling the truth. Sumlin presided over an Oileresque choke job. Sumlin presided over 4 November meltdowns. I think it was 3 when BrentZ called him on them. Brent Z was one of the first to recognize that the constant HUNH was grinding up our defense.

We got lucky that when our run-stuffer got hurt, we caught a straight-up passing opponent and then a bye week. We absolutely need Brown for the good running opponents later. The critique is petty, but honest.

Yeah, the Van Halen thing was weird. I can tolerate weird.

I can't imaging asking the same guy questions week after week. Gotta mix things up with questions to stay sane.

That dude was a giant trolling d-bag when Sumlin was here. Did you just start following A&M football? Zwenenemanen's articles are nearly always full of backhanded compliments, and he has flat out reported wrong information in the past that hurt the program. When people on the premium board called him out, his response was "hey calm down guys, I'm just trying feed my family, derp derp." **** that guy. Not a fan at all.

How does Brent expect players to not show emotion while playing football in the SEC? This is a stupid comment. The great coaches look to improve in all areas. If you watched the game last Saturday you would have noticed only safe celebrating.

Z wants the players to be presidential. No celebrating.

I also think Zwerneman takes too many unnecessary shots at our program. I feel like most beat writers get to know the players, coaches, and others in the program and have 'homerism' leanings in their writing. But, Vwerneman seldom passes on a chance to throw a couple negative comments at us in his articles.

The "shots", if that's what you want to call them, have been warranted in the past. I've never understood why it's okay for Texags posters to take shots at the program, but when somebody in the media does it, those posters lose their mind.

From what I recall, for the most part, backhanded were the only compliments worthy of Sumlin.
