Not sure Mond is good enough to be drafted, but haven't you noticed that the NFL has gone Woke?

His play on the field this season will affect his draft status. That's about it.

I think Mond getting drafted (or not) screws A&M both ways. If mond gets drafted, it is based on measurables and presumed that Jimbos offense sucks. Or Mond not getting drafted with his good measurables indicates that jimbo can't recruit or develop QBs. Either way isn't a good look for A&M.

Second, 32 men have the awesome privilege of being NFL GMs/Personnel Directors. Not one of them wants to give up that title because they took or signed a player who wasn't good enough, or they bypassed a good player and someone else got them. The NFL is the ultimate meritocracy. That's what the libs don't understand about Collin Kapernick, he's wasn't "banned from the NFL" for his politics, he just sucked at playing QB.

An old saying comes to mind, something like, "Lower than the lowest piece of whale .........." or something like that.

I could give two shats about Monds draft position. Care less if he goes first, last or even goes at all. All I want to do is win games. If that means his arse has to ride the bench and we play another QB, so be it.

Mond has good measurables. He might be a late pick.

QBR of 32 vs a bad team. Pretty sure you do that one more time and your not getting drafted no matter how well you do at the underwear olympics.

Someone will take him as a UFA, and hope they get lucky.

Those that think Mond won't be drafted crack me up. Love to watch these hilarious comments. He will absolutely be drafted in the NFL. Only question is what round. Probably round 3 to 5. But could go higher for sure If he has a good year. Zero chance he goes lower.

The odds are very low, but if he plays well the next two weeks could be higher. NFL Draft people look a lot at how you perform in the combines with no pressure. So he could go higher with all those factors.

But, but, he played "clean" against Vandy.

He should have opted out. Probably would've been drafted in the 2nd/3rd round based on measurables and potential.

Now, he's going to show the scouts too much.

Does the Arena Football League have a draft?

Does the XFL draft players or just assign them to teams?

Unless his play improves considerably, I see him playing for an XFL team.
